Did Nicole go to college?
You bet! Nicole graduated from Roanoke College in Virginia’s sunny Blue Ridge in May 2019. She received a Bachelors’ of Science in Environmental Studies, with a French language minor. She graduated with a 3.8 GPA, Honors in the Major, Summa Cum Laude, an A- Honors Program Thesis grade, and positive impact on the community in Salem and Roanoke, Virgina.
What experience does Nicole have in the cannabis industry?
Nicole entered corporate cannabis in November 2020 as marketing coordinator at Clear Cannabis Inc. (aka The Clear) in Denver, Colorado. Working alongside Patrick Haske, the duo managed to run the MSO’s marketing efforts for twelve months, with Nicole being the Digital point person and Patrick handling all IRL marketing. From corporate, Nicole went rogue and freelanced for 6 months before co-founding House of Fuego in May 2022. House of Fuego managed social media and marketing campaigns for businesses across cannabis sectors, ranging from startups to MSOs. Nicole went on to MedMen to do a hefty loyalty project, and then ran omnichannel marketing for Green Check Verified until November 2024. Check out her resume for more information!

What is she interested in?
It’s safe to say that Nicole is a person interested in things as a whole. Pursuing thoughtful, intersectional, new frontiers is something that brings her joy. Topics that fall into this include: systems theory, AI and innovative tech, the new internet, internet of things, blockchain, climate change, sustainability, futurism and statement art. Of course, Nicole’s passion for plant medicine led her to building her current career in the cannabis industry.

Has she ever worked in an office IRL?
Absolutely! Before the Covid pandemic sent the world to work remote, Nicole worked at the Snooze, an AM Eatery corporate office, aka The Mothership. She worked there from the time she graduated from college — literally within 7 days — until March 2020. Nicole also worked a hybrid-remote schedule with The Clear from November 2020 to November 2021. Nicole has built national brand recognition from anywhere during her time as a freelancer and co-founder from November 2021 to present - end of year 2023!

2 Startups before 27
Nicole was co-owner and CMO of Denver Pub Crawl: Denver’s first and only weekly european style pub crawl. The startup helped some of LoDo’s most iconic bars stay open and operating during COVID social distancing. In 2022, Nicole co-founded House of Fuego and scaled the agency nationally in less than 6 months. Nicole helped Cirrus Social Club go-to-market in 2023.
