Nicole 💜s New Tech

An avid sci-fi lover, doom scroller, and “zillenial,” Nicole has been having a love affair with innovative technology for quite some time now.

She is a firm believer in scientific and data literacy, as well as strong ethics around AI usage.

Where it all began…

  • Nicole was injecting handwritten HTML code into her myspace and tumblr pages from age 9 and onward.

  • Her first social media “gig” was a trade for services with a local yoga studio owned by women in their 50s when she was in highschool.

  • She watched her brother buy into Bitcoin in 2013.

  • Her favorite course in college was Geographic Information Systems, mapping data on ArcGIS for further reporting.

  • She watched the rise and recess of NFTs with popcorn.

  • She’s worked with a b2b BaaS client and an alt-coin client.

  • And in 2022, she became an early adopter of large language models for professional use.

GPT for Professional Use

Coming together with LLM’s like GPT was the highlight of Nicole’s 2022 and 2023. Beyond the assumed use-cases, here are some ways she began optimizing various tasks to enhance her productivity:

  1. Overcoming Writer's Block: Whenever creativity stalls, GPT serves as a brainstorming companion, suggesting content that ignites the flow of ideas.

  2. Optimizing Lists & Task Management: By inputting raw ideas, GPT organizes, prioritizes, and refines them into actionable and optimized lists.

  3. Clarification: GPT aids in breaking down intricate concepts, ensuring that Nicole’s communications are easy to understand, making complex ideas more accessible. Concise communication is an opportunity for Nicole which GPT solves.

Leveraging LLMs streamlines processes, but also fosters creativity and precision, making it an invaluable tool for staying human on superhuman timelines in the working world.

Blockchain, NFTs & Crypto:

Nicole loves a good event. Her passion for tech and love for events is truly what brought her into the world of Blockchain, NFTs, Crypto, the metaverse, augmented reality, and more.

Nicole co-owned House of Fuego, because of a local Denver dispensary wanting to launch an NFT, and have the Fuego team manage their socials and community.

In 2023, Nicole attended crypto-focused conferences ETHDenver and RareEvo. At these events, not only did Nicole have an eye-opening blast, but she created authentic connections with heavy-hitters in the space.

Nicole is currently an active member of Boys Club, and would like to work in this space one day.

Web3

During Nicole’s time with House of Fuego, she worked with a web3 client who hosted an enterprise-level Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) cybersecurity offerings.

This client also had an alt-coin project which they managed in house, WeGroCoin.

Nicole worked on WeGro’s:

  • Social Media Strategy

  • Various campaigns on the Coin and Data sides

  • Best practice coaching with their Marketing Director

  • Mechanisms for communicating the strategy to community moderators

  • Brand Story

  • And eventually, House of Fuego assisted with WeGro Data’s rebrand into Vannadium.

Nicole has a knack for understanding white papers and being able to convert them into content for various audiences, campaigns, and scopes. As stated before, Nicole would be delighted to find herself in a career in web3 communications or marketing.
