Work from the Way Back

-
Nicole launched the social pages for Om Sweet Om, a yoga studio that used to exist in her hometown of Port Washington, New York. Nicole offered this service in exchange for studio time to learn from the amazing women who ran this studio while they were in business. She was a junior in high school who grew up on IG with a desire to help.
-
Nicole served as Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Director, and finally President of the Roanoke College Campus Activities Board. During this time, crafting social content, crafting collateral and deploying messaging was central to this events-focused role.

In May 2019, Nicole graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Studies. She accepted a position as a Marketing Intern at Snooze, an AM Eatery’s corporate “Mothership” in Denver, Colorado. About 6 weeks in, she was tasked with managing their instagram. See more below.
Nicole ran social media accounts for these brands between 2020 and 2024.
Noteworthy Statistics from Nicole’s Career Lifetime:
1 Viral Video
In October 2022, Nicole went viral for a video from Izzy Blaze’s Backyard Boogie, hosted at River Bar in Denver. The video features a preformance by Alicia Goku and birthday cake full of joints made by Earth Smokes a Lot. The video generated 2.4 million plays, 252,540 reactions, 289 comments, 56,000 shares, and a 2,500 follower gain. See the video here.
2 Shadow Ban Lifted
While working to research whether or not it was possible, Nicole successfully lifted a shadow ban for the first time in her career history while managing Feminized with Liz Grow’s Instagram in 2023. The second shadow ban she reversed was for MedMen which was short lived before their January 2024 bankruptcy.
A shadow ban is when Instagram limits a user’s content reach by restricting visibility. It usually happens when an account repeatedly violates community guidelines (in our case, for cannabis). In just 30 days at the start of 2023, Liz’s reach to non-followers improved by 131%.
1 Article Ghostwritten
Nicole was given the opportunity to ghostwrite an article in Rolling Stone for Peter Su, Culture Editor and 25-year Veteran Banker, with about 10 of those years in cannabis. The article is titled “The Market and Business Implications of Delta 8,” and it ran on August 1, 2022. Read it here.
10k Follower Growth
Managing Snooze, an AM Eatery’s Instagram from July 2019 to January 2020, Nicole helped Snooze’s Instagram account grow from 80,000 to 90,000 followers. Her content generated over 50,000 impressions on Instagram alone.
5 Million Impressions
A flashy statistic! During Nicole’s time with The Clear, her work garnered over 5 million impressions between photo sharing websites and print advertisements. This does not include impressions from social networks. Nicole ran a total of 9 instagram accounts for The Clear: the main page, several state pages, the CBD page, and TWAX by The Clear.
